Following from my last entry.....the journey continues!
As much as I loved fashion, and "ALL THINGS VINTAGE", I thought that I would do the "sensible" thing and go to Uni. I was fascinated by Psychology, and my Mum was a very successful Speech Pathologist, so Allied Health was my choice of "sensible career", putting my creative pursuits on the backburner.
After many years, and adventures later, including getting Married and having thress beautiful children, I obtained my Masters Degree in Psychology, and ran a successful Private Psychology Practice in Sydney for 15 years. However, sometimes life throws you a curve ball, and my curve ball had horns!!!! I quit my job, and decided to focuss on the most neglected and broken piece of the puzzle...."ME".
It was then (two years ago), that I set a new goal for myself: To follow my passion, and set up "Penni Pops Designs"! If I am honest, this was probably more about the whole therapeutic experience of crafting! ...And believe you me, crafting is cathartic, therapeutic and an awful lot of fun!!! I am sure it saved me from a fate worse than death!
So here I am! Happier than ever, following my dream (even it is only a small one!), and CRAFTING new VINTAGE DESIGNS each day!
So.......NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS...and...ALWAYS BE THE BEST THAT YOU CAN BE, YOU DESERVE IT !!!!!
